Born into the coffee industry, Marco’s lifetime ambition from a very early age was to manage his own coffee business. It was in 2001, 4 years after the family sold Costa Coffee to Whitbread PLC, his dream became a reality when Marco was able to involve two men with a great passion for coffee and a vast amount of industry knowledge, both members of the Italian Institute of Espresso (INEI). With three such experienced and driven men at the helm of Caffe Torelli it’s perhaps unsurprising that within a short period of time the company has generated an enormous amount of interest from discerning coffee buyers all around the world.
