As the name suggests brewing commenced in Oakham, Rutland in 1993.
Its relocation to Peterborough occurred in 1998 and moved within Peterborough again in 2006 to cope with expansion to a site which is 75 times larger than the original.
140 industry awards including Champion Beer of Britain 2001 has gained Oakham Ales a reputation for quality beers in its short life by using only the best ingredients available and a true passion for brewing.
Portfolio consists of 4 permanent cask conditioned ales as pictured above, and a rolling selection of seasonal and special brews.
Bottle range includes JHB, Bishops Farewell, and Hawse Buckler, winner of Worlds Best Dark Ale at the World Beer Awards 2008.
