The Brewery was established 1986, in the small town of Clare, in Suffolk. From the very beginning It set out to brew distinctive beers of a consistent quality. this being quickly recognized In the many awards won at beer festivals throughout the year.

The beer brewed mostly exhibited special features, such as our coriander flavored Umbel ales, coriander was much used before hops became cheaply available, or old Growler itself a dark bitter which is our most famous beer. Nethergate’s success has been based upon the consistent quality of its beers, and the number of interesting and different beers that have been offered to discerning beer-drinkers.

Today we brew ten permanent beers throughout the year these being supplemented by seasonal and special beers.

As the name suggests brewing commenced in Oakham, Rutland in 1993.

Its relocation to Peterborough occurred in 1998 and moved within Peterborough again in 2006 to cope with expansion to a site which is 75 times larger than the original.

140 industry awards including Champion Beer of Britain 2001 has gained Oakham Ales a reputation for quality beers in its short life by using only the best ingredients available and a true passion for brewing.

Portfolio consists of 4 permanent cask conditioned ales as pictured above, and a rolling selection of seasonal and special brews.

Bottle range includes JHB, Bishops Farewell, and Hawse Buckler, winner of Worlds Best Dark Ale at the World Beer Awards 2008.

St Judes Brewery is a seven barrel, micro brewery situated in Ipswich in an 18th Century Coach House.

We brew a wide range of ales suitable for all.

Most of the bottled ales featured on our webslte are available all year round. This also includes our two vegetarian and vegan ales St Francis and Pagan Path.

We can supply cask ale but this is subject lo availability with a weeks notice.

Our labels are designed in-house, this allows us to produce personalized labels for our retail outlet

We are a family run business and have been dedicated distributors of all things coffee for the past twenty years, supplying restaurants, pubs, hotels, cafes, bars and offices across the East of England.

Our coffee beans ore freshly roasted every week, with our own signature range arrosto available in blends to suit all tastes, along with origins and Fairtrade coffees, all available in beans, filter and cafetiere grinds.
