Alec Day Butcher and Fishmonger is a traditional butcher shop situated in the market town of Bourne, north of Peterborough.

Alec started as a butchers boy at the age of 13, and became a full-time apprentice at 16. In 1993, Alec was able to purchase the business and expand to supply hotels, pubic houses, schools, nurseries and nursing homes.

The business prides itself with high standards and good customer care.

We are able to supply:
• Quality beef, Pork, and lamb.
• Poultry.
• Own recipe Lincolnshire Sausage.
• A good selection of cheese.

We are also able to supply fresh fish sourced from Grimsby.

Smoked Hams
Using only the finest quality Suffolk pork, smoked in-house over wood chippings to give a wonderful, subtle taste. These hams make a fabulous.

Smoked Gammon
We air dry, cure and smoke our locally sourced gammon, slowly over beech chippings producing a delicious succulent flavour. Giving you the wow experience!

Bacon
Our bacon is cured and smoked in house, producing good tender, meaty bacon

Smoked Chicken
Lightly smoked to give a delicious, subtle taste. This is wonderful to eat, either hot or cold. Supplied in packs of 2, uncooked.

Sausages
Award winning sausages homemade to our very special traditional recipe, still using natural casings.
